Reserved Matters planning consent was granted by Three Rivers DC for this 75 bed care home on a 2 acre land parcel upon a former school site in South Oxhey.

The design of this contemporary care home responds to the unique site constraints including the steep topography, creating a variety of external gardens at every level of the building. The scheme also facilitates a response to Covid-19 and includes lockdown and isolation units within the internal environment.

RDT have been involved throughout the feasibility and planning stages and providing detailed design drawings throughout the construction phase whilst providing a client liaison service for Hertfordshire County Council.

The development is part of a wider masterplan on this 14 acre site to include the creation of up to 70 new homes.
